Our nurses and carers spend time getting to know our residents and their families before providing and delivering personalised care plans. In fact, all our people go out of their way to get to know our residents, whether it’s our laundry assistants having a friendly chat when they’re dropping off clean washing or the hostesses and chefs who make sure mealtimes are about more than just delicious nutritious food. We run a wide range of activities too – we even have a Pet Therapy programme.

Our 88-bed home is based just off the A1214 in the Kesgrave part of Ipswich, with good road links to the A12 and A14 trunk roads. The nearest train stations are Woodbridge and Derby Road. Our home is close to the beautiful East Anglian coastline and nearby towns include Felixstowe, Woodbridge, Aldeburgh, Martlesham Heath and Colchester.

We provide 24-hour nursing care to frail older people, to older people living with dementia and to younger adults who have physical disabilities or are otherwise in need of care. We offer respite care and short breaks too.
We’re proud to be one of the first homes to be accredited as part of Barchester’s 10-60-06 Dementia Care programme, a training and accreditation programme. We have a dedicated Memory Lane Community which provides specialised resources for people living with dementia. This includes colour and cues to help residents navigate through the home as well as thoughtful interior design to help with reminiscence, corridors with points of interest offering sensory stimulation and access to our balcony garden.
