Arbour Court provides first-class, 24-hour nursing care for frail older people, for people who are living with dementia and for people with mental health needs. We have 60 beds in our home, and we tailor our person-centred care to meet each individual’s needs so that we can achieve the very best outcomes for them. Our home is clean, bright and airy with some lovely outside seating areas.
From our managers, carers and nurses to our administrators, chefs and maintenance experts, everyone in the team helps us to celebrate individuality and enable our residents to maintain as much independence as possible. We make sure our residents enjoy quality one-to-one time with our teams and we arrange things like regular visits from a chiropodists, musicians and entertainers. Our individual and group activities often see us involving our local communities or visiting local places of interest in our minibus. Person-centred care extends to the food we offer too – for example, by cooking a resident’s favourite meal, we can help to evoke memories as well as stimulating the senses.
