Ashcombe House provides 24-hour nursing care for older people in need of long-term, respite or post-operative care. We have strong links with local health providers and take a multidisciplinary approach to care and care planning involving our residents and their families. Ashcombe House has been designed to feel like home inside and out – we encourage our residents to enjoy the outdoors in our beautiful garden.
Our 33-bed home has been designed to help us provide the person-centred care that will ensure we can completely support our residents in all aspect of their lives. From the tasty and nutritious food created by our skilled team of chefs through to activities that are tailored to suit residents of every taste and ability, we’re committed to enhancing lives. Our most recent activities have included a pancake day feast and a talk about birds of prey (we were even host to an owl).
As a team, our focus is on celebrating life, individuality and dignity. We understand that each resident has individual needs, so we make sure everyone who joins us is trained to deliver the very best in bespoke, compassionate care. Put simply, this is a fantastic environment in which to hone your skills, discover new ones and make a real different to people’s lives.
