With 83 beds, Balclutha Court is one of our larger care homes. It has attractive décor, landscaped gardens with outside seating and modern facilities, including an activity room and hair salon. The home is clean and bright with a welcoming, homely atmosphere.
Every member of our dedicated team is focused on providing the very best in respectful, person-centred care to our residents. Our nurses and carers pride themselves on putting the individual needs of our residents first, and it’s an approach that extends to our hospitality, housekeeping, maintenance and administrative teams. We have a jam-packed weekly activities programme which includes things like excursions, tea parties, arts and crafts, carpet bowls and jigsaw clubs. Meanwhile, our talented chefs create delicious dishes that cater for every taste and dietary need.
We go out of our way to involve our residents in the running of the home. They take part in residents’ meetings and catering forums – they even help us to interview new staff.
