This beautiful purpose-built care home in Newport has 80 beds and has been specifically designed to provide high-quality residential and nursing care to older people, including those individuals living with dementia. The home’s environment is warm, homely and friendly. Our team is committed to providing excellent person-centred care that puts each resident at the heart of everything.

We have luxurious facilities, including a dedicated Memory Lane Community, and a packed activities and social programme that’s been designed to cater for every taste and ability. Meanwhile, our chefs take the time to chat with our residents so they can create dishes that meet their preferences and dietary needs.

We provide 24-hour nursing and residential care as well as specialist care for people living with dementia, respite care and short breaks.

Our dedicated Memory Lane Community provides specialist resources for people living with dementia. This includes colour and cues to help residents navigate through the home as well as thoughtful interior design to help with reminiscence. Memory boxes with small reminders and items such as photographs are also used to help each person reminisce. We also use adapted crockery and tableware, sensory gardens with low-risk walkways and activity kitchens to enable people to engage in life’s everyday tasks and pleasures.
