Fordmill

Fordmill is a purpose-built care home set in extensive grounds and landscaped gardens. We have well-designed, modern accommodation with 59 bedrooms that our residents can personalise. The home is spacious but also cosy with every member of the team playing a part in making it a warm and welcoming place to be.

The care and compassion of our staff was recognised in the Your Care Rating 2016 survey when we achieved an overall score of 910 out of 1,000. That’s partly thanks to our focus on delivering the best in person-centred care. We use a range of health assessment tools and a named nurse and carer take individual responsibility for care planning and reviews, consulting with our residents and their relatives. Our services are devised with individualised treatment in mind for each person, so getting to know everyone and understanding their needs is key. This also helps us to provide an extensive programme of activities and social events to match every taste and ability.

Everything we do is designed to promote our residents’ independence and that makes this a very rewarding place to bring your career. We’ll make sure you benefit from our training and development so that you can make a positive difference as you achieve your career goals.
