Offering 60 luxurious private rooms with en-suite facilities, our purpose-built home has panoramic views of the Shropshire Hills and surrounding countryside. Hagley Place provides 24-hour residential, nursing and dementia care as well as respite care and short breaks.
We’re proud to be one of the first homes to be accredited as part of Barchester’s 10-60-06 Dementia Care programme, a bespoke training and accreditation programme designed to enhance the dementia care environment. We have a dedicated Memory Lane Community providing specialist resources for people living with dementia. This includes colour and cues to help residents navigate through the home as well as thoughtful interior design to help with reminiscence.
Within our community, we also use memory boxes with small reminders and items such as photographs to give people living with dementia reference points and help preserve their sense of self. Specially designed activity kitchens and sensory gardens with low-risk walkways also help people to engage with the everyday world’s tasks and pleasures.
