The award-winning Lakeside Manor Care Home is part of the care village consisting of Lakeside Manor itself, the well-established Lakeside Care Home, the premier Lakeside Pavilion apartments, and the famous Mermaid pub, which has been fully refurbished to create the social hub for the village.
As a team, we’re focused on helping our residents lead fulfilling lives, in a warm, homely and friendly environment. As well as nurses providing 24-hour cover, the team includes specially trained managers and care staff, activities coordinators, administrators, trained chefs and hospitality and maintenance teams to care for everyone in the 60-room home.

Lakeside Manor offers assisted living in eight two-bedroom apartments, supporting people in need of some help who want to remain as independent as possible in their own flats.
We also offer 24-hour nursing care, and care for people living with dementia or mental health issues over three separate and dedicated floors. Specialist care for those living with the after effects of stroke, or Parkinson’s disease is also provided. Respite and day care are available in all units.
Our dementia care is provided within our Memory Lane Community, which has a range of specialist resources. These include colour and cues to help residents navigate through the home as well as thoughtful interior design and memory boxes to help with reminiscence. Features such as adapted crockery and tableware, sensory gardens with low-risk walkways and activity kitchens also enable people to engage in life’s everyday simple tasks and pleasures.
