We recommend adjusting the location to see if we have a role which may be suitable elsewhere.
Thank you for your interest in a career with Barchester Healthcare.
Mo Dhachaidh Care Home is located in the fishing village of Ullapool in the beautiful North West Highlands of Scotland. Our home is nestled in the heart of the village and also provides premises for the local GP surgery and council office. The village itself has a host of independent shops and restaurants offering local produce and places to eat.
Our bright and friendly 21-bed home is locally well-known for our ‘Highland welcome’. Wherever you are in our home, you’ll feel the warm and supportive environment that enables our team to deliver the person-centred care our residents deserve. Every member of our team has the same ethos: to make each resident feel welcome and at home – and offering activities that meet their social and cultural needs is one way we do that. Our exciting activities programme for residents includes visits from a therapy dog, a ‘gentle’ exercise guru, a regular church service and summer walks to the seafront. We also embrace our highland culture, with traditional music, food and the occasional ‘wee dram’.
Here at Mo Dhachaidh, we’ll ensure you are supported in your career, with ongoing opportunities to develop and expand your skills. From care, nurse and support staff to our hospitality, housekeeping and maintenance teams, we recognise the crucial part that every individual plays in keeping Barchester homes thriving.
