Plas Y Dderwen is a bright and charming 70-bed care home where our residents’ needs are always put first. Our home features spacious dining areas and lounges, comfortable bedrooms, a hairdressing salon, and a large garden with outdoor seating. Our excellent facilities have been thoughtfully designed with our residents’ needs in mind, so you’ll have everything you need to deliver person-centred care – and a supportive environment in which you can develop your career.
As well as our superb facilities, we’re proud of our socially active community. Our activities team plan a varied and exciting programme, so we have everything from a film club and arts and crafts sessions, to minibus trips out and visits from entertainers. Each staff member is involved in providing a support system for our residents. This could be anything from personalising our residents’ rooms to ensuring they have a fulfilled day, or aiding with simple day-to-day tasks, or a simple thing such as making sure they have access to a newspaper.
