Plas Y Dderwen Care Home is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the peaceful village of Johnstown in Carmarthen, Wales. You’ll find us just off Parc Cilddewi with plenty of bus stops in close proximity.

Our bright and charming 70-bed care home is a place where our residents’ needs are always put first. Our home features spacious dining areas and lounges, comfortable bedrooms, a hairdressing salon, and a large garden with outdoor seating. Our excellent facilities have been thoughtfully designed with our residents’ needs in mind, so you’ll have everything you need to deliver excellent person-centred care. As well as our superb facilities, we’re proud of our socially active community. Our activities team plan a varied and exciting programme, so we have everything from a film club and arts and crafts sessions, to minibus trips out and visits from entertainers. Each staff member is involved in providing a support system for our residents. Across everything we do here, we treat our residents with dignity and respect so we can all enjoy a happy, fun-filled environment.
