Sherwood Lodge is a bright and charming purpose-built care home with rooms for 49 residents. We’re situated on 2.5 acres of landscaped grounds which we share with Sherwood Court, our sister care home. We have spacious dining and lounge areas, a conservatory and en-suite bedrooms which overlook our lovely gardens. For you, this means the opportunity to work in first-class facilities that enable you to provide the best possible care to our residents.
Every member of our team is dedicated to making sure all our residents’ needs are being met – and helping them to remain as active as possible is a huge part of this. All the activities we provide are based on the interests, needs and wants of the individuals we support. We have regular outings in the mini bus to nearby places of interest, including local garden centres and parks as well as visits to see musicians and entertainers.
At Sherwood Lodge, each team, from the care and kitchen staff to laundry and maintenance, all play a part in making a new resident feel welcomed when they arrive into our home. The one thing that will strike you when you walk into our home is the sound of laughter. We’re a home from home, where chats and hugs are common, and residents really do love living here.
