Find Your Next Job at South Chowdene Care Home in Gateshead
Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, South Chowdene is a 42-bed care home with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Between the spacious en-suite bedrooms, large lounges and bright conservatory, this is a wonderful place that enables us to deliver the person-centred care our residents deserve.
Our entire team is dedicated to helping our residents get the most out of life – and it all begins with helping them to settle in and meeting their individual needs. Before admission, we complete a resident assessment with the resident and their relatives to help us really get to know them as a person. Our care and support teams create a personalised care plan that covers residents’ needs, risks, likes and dislikes. This provides a basis for areas as diverse as activities programmes, rehabilitative medical needs, discussions with our catering team about their meals, and making sure their rooms are personalised by the maintenance team.
As for our managers and people in support teams, they’re all committed to helping the home run smoothly, whether that’s by keeping it clean and tidy or overseeing the quality of care. Join us and you’ll have the facilities and support to deliver quality care with plenty of development opportunities along the way.
