We’re proud of our large conservatory, elegant dining room and spacious bedrooms – wherever you are, you can feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere in our home. The entire team at Thackeray are committed to providing the highest standards of care, alongside excellent hospitality, activities, administration and maintenance services. On admission, the Maintenance Manager helps our newcomers by personalising their rooms. The Activities Coordinator takes time to learn about their interests and hobbies, which we try and include in our weekly activity programmes, whether it’s pottery, baking, art classes, or outings in our minibus. The administration team are there to answer any questions our residents and their families may have, and the housekeeping team make sure residents’ clothes are freshly washed and their rooms are tidy. The catering team are always keen to find out what our residents’ favourite meals are so they can cook them up to make them feel at home.
As for our managers, nurses and carers, they’re committed to drawing up personalised care plans and overseeing the quality of care. Our main aim is to make sure our residents have an enjoyable and meaningful experience with us.
