Wadhurst Manor is an elegant, modern and yet homely 65-bed care home set in a beautiful 11 acre site. As well as our double en-suite bedrooms, spacious dining rooms and hairdressing salon, we have a range of comfortable living spaces, including a welcoming coffee lounge at the heart of the home. For you, this means first-class facilities and a supportive environment in which to deliver person-centred care and develop your career.

Our team of highly qualified nurses and well-trained care staff focus on the individual needs of each resident, developing a tailored care plan for each and every person. The care team is supported by our catering and housekeeping, maintenance and administration teams. All new residents coming into the home are given a special welcome by our team, and their rooms are decorated to make it feel like they’ve brought a little bit of their own home into this new environment. We try to make each day unique, especially on special occasions like our residents’ birthdays and anniversaries. At Wadhurst Manor, there’s always an excuse for a get together – even if it’s just for a morning coffee or afternoon tea.

We offer 24-hour nursing, residential, and dementia care as well as respite care and short breaks. Many of our residents are older people, but we also provide services for the under-65s.

We have a dedicated Memory Lane Community providing specialised resources for people living with dementia. This includes colour and cues to help residents navigate through the home as well as thoughtful interior design to help with reminiscence. This also features a life skills kitchen where everyone can be involved in activities of daily living like baking, washing up and setting the table.
