Based near Preston, Dovedale Court is a bright and modern care home. With 32-beds, it’s one of our smaller care homes and we take great pride in delivering the very best in person-centred care. Our hospitality, food and environment are all designed to make every resident feel truly at home.

We aim to help them maintain their life skills and independence as well as ensuring they feel comfortable and supported in all aspects of their lives. Our Memory Lane Community provides specialist resources for people living with dementia. This includes colour and cues to help residents navigate through the home as well as thoughtful interior design to help with reminiscence.
The environment features memory boxes as well as special crockery, tableware and kitchens and enclosed sensory gardens with low-risk walkways. Our teams undertake specialist dementia care training via Barchester’s Dementia Care Programme and they regularly participate in Dementia Care Forums to ensure we keep up to speed with best practice.
