Dudwell St Mary is housed in the stunning setting of a former convent and has a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Our position overlooking the scenic Dudwell Valley is complemented by our well-tended, extensive grounds and picturesque gardens. A major refurbishment means we now have a bright new reception area, a beautiful dining room and a new look for all of our 74 bedrooms.
From our nurses and carers to our housekeeping, hospitality and maintenance teams, our dedicated and highly qualified team helps to create the home’s welcoming and relaxed atmosphere which is full of smiles and happiness. It makes this an enjoyable place to be for our residents, their families and friends, and everyone who works here. We’re all passionate about delivering the best in person-centred care and we make sure we offer the highest quality cooking, hospitality and activities – all matched to each resident’s preferences. Our activities include things like bread making, pottery, knitting and card making as well as exercise classes and regular visits from entertainers.
