Why work at Highfield Care Home in Tadcaster?
Join us, and you can look forward to being part of a culture that is friendly, welcoming and always supportive.
We offer 24-hour nursing, residential and dementia care as well as respite care and short breaks across two different communities.
The first floor is home to our Memory Lane residential dementia community, where 14 people who live with memory impairment or other symptoms of dementia are able to enjoy a peaceful and relaxed experience with staff who understand the many and varied effects of the condition. They are supported by external agencies to ensure the care they provide is evidence-based and in line with best practice. Colour and cues help residents navigate through the home and thoughtful interior design helps with reminiscence.
On the ground floor, we have 26 bedrooms for people with nursing needs. This can include frail elderly people, those living with motor neurone disease, Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s and MS.
We recognise each person as an individual and tailor our care to their requirements to ensure that they are able to feel at home and live a life they choose to live.
