Arbour Lodge Independent Hospital is situated in a relaxed, friendly and green village called Marple, which itself sits a couple of miles from the Derbyshire border and the Peak District National Park.

We are a purpose-designed independent hospital with 13 beds. Our dedicated team provides needs-led services for men of 50 years and over who are living with enduring mental health conditions. From our Nurses and Support Workers through to our Consultant Psychiatrist, Therapists and ancillary staff, every member of our team is focused on person-centred care. With detailed care planning, key worker involvement, and a focused therapeutic environment, we empower every person we support to achieve their potential – and their goals. Occupational therapy allows our patients to develop new skills, and our urban location means we can help them to access cafés, sports and leisure facilities on a regular basis. We also support them to visit friends and family in the local area, and enjoy short residential breaks. What we do requires a diverse range of roles, but our warm and supportive culture brings us together to help our patients.
