Windermere House Independent Hospital is situated in a busy, urban area of Hull. Only a 7-minute walk away from The Mount Retail Park, we’re in an excellent location with several bus stops nearby.
With 41 beds, we specifically care for older adults and working age men in three individual units. Each unit has spacious lounge and dining areas, activity rooms, therapy rooms, and patients have their own en-suite bedrooms. Our facilities have been designed to meet our patients’ individual needs, as well as enable our team to deliver quality care. From our Nurses and Support Workers through to our Psychologists and ancillary staff, every member of our team is focused on person-centred care. We collaborate with patients to direct their tailored treatment, achieve personal goals and maximise independence wherever possible. They’re able to choose from the range of therapeutic services we offer daily, such as Occupational Therapy. All our units have a ‘life skills’ kitchen to help patients prepare for independent living and a garden area designed for therapeutic horticultural activities.
Here at Windermere House, we’ll ensure you are supported in your career, with ongoing opportunities to develop and expand your skills. We recognise the crucial part that every individual plays in keeping Barchester hospitals thriving. You’ll be rewarded for your continuous hard work and feel that your commitment is truly valued.
