<p>Barchester’s Billingham Grange Independent Mental Health Hospital are recruiting a Medical Hospital Secretary to join the team on a part time basis - this is an <strong>8 hour per week role.</strong> In this key role, you will work alongside our skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to ensure that reports and confidential records are accurately maintained. </p><p><br/>Our fantastic hospital holds an Outstanding CQC rating, providing care and treatment for up to 50 adults experiencing enduring mental health illnesses and behaviours that may challenge. Treatment and care pathways are formulated, delivered, and reviewed by a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team, and this will be underpinned by the support of an experienced Medical Hospital Secretary. </p><p><br/>Barchester is the only healthcare provider in the UK to be accredited as one of the best companies to work for in 2019 and 2020, so why not join us?</p><p><br/><strong>NEED TO HAVE</strong><br/>• Previous medical (mental health) secretarial experience<br/>• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent<br/>• Excellent computer skills (particularly MS office package)<br/>• Excellent audio skills<br/>• Sound written and verbal communication skills</p><p><strong>NEED TO DO</strong><br/>• Provide high quality secretarial service to Consultant Psychiatrist   <br/>• Ensure accurate typing of reports dictated by the Consultant, maintain confidential medical records accurately and securely<br/>• Taking minutes, plus attending and arranging meetings when required<br/>• Taking phone calls and messages<br/>• Dealing with emails and other forms of post<br/>• Managing medical diaries<br/>• Creating, updating, and managing spreadsheets and medical databases</p><p><strong>REWARDS PACKAGE</strong><br/>We are offering a competitive salary and flexible working, as well as unlimited access to our refer a friend bonus scheme, free parking, and opportunities for development. <br/>If you’d like to use your attention to detail and people skills in an organisation that provides the quality care you’d expect for your loved ones, this is a rewarding place to be.</p><p><br/></p>
