ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Bank Activities Assistant at a Barchester care home, you’ll deliver imaginative, fun and varied activities to ensure our residents can enjoy an environment that is motivational and fulfilling. We want to make sure each individual can pursue the interests they most enjoy and that means you’ll have a real impact on our residents’ lives. The Bank Activities Assistant role involves helping us to deliver an entertainment and activities programme that covers a wide range of pastimes, social activities, outings and events. Put simply, you’ll help every resident to live as independently as possible and enhance their involvement with their family, friends and the local community.

ABOUT YOU
You don’t need any specific experience to join us as a Bank Activities Assistant, so you could come from any background. What’s important is that you have a sense of fun, creativity, and the ability to encourage and motivate others. You’ll also need to have that little extra something – a real interest in the people we support. Enthusiastic and empathetic, you’re someone who’ll really enjoy helping our residents to live their lives to the full. Bring us all of that, and you’ll have every opportunity to develop your skills further with a range of courses designed to build your confidence in every aspect of your role.

REWARDS PACKAGE
As well as competitive pay, you can look forward to a role that offers true flexibility and plenty of free learning and development opportunities. As one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers, we take the growth of everyone who works for us seriously.

As this is a Bank position to provide cover as and when we need it, such as for annual leave or sick leave, the hours and days you work will vary.

If you’d like to use your creativity and people skills in an organisation that provides the quality care you’d expect for your loved ones, this is a rewarding place to be.
