Barchester Healthcare’s established finance team are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join us in Inverness. This crucial role will involve ensuring management accounts are generated accurately and on time.
• You should be a fully qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years management accounts experience, preferably in a large volume environment
• Exceptional analytical and excel skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Review management accounts to ensure the integrity of the reporting information
• Highlight areas of the management accounts which require further investigation prior to their release.
• Monthly review of income for an allocated group of care homes.
• Review balance sheet control accounts
• Ensure there is a complete database of all electricity, gas, and water meters, and liaise with suppliers to ensure the accuracy of all utility invoices
• Produce and allocate all the homes utilities, insurance and preventative maintenance budgets
• Assist with the annual audit process.
• Sign off bank, sales, extras and resident personal money reconciliations
