Barchester is looking for a well organised individual for this varied role in our busy Budget and Statistics Team. This is a Maternity Cover post for 18 months. This is a good opportunity for an individual to broaden their experience in an accounting environment. The main purpose of the role is to assist in the Budget Process which involves the use of a TM1 Database. Knowledge of databases is desirable but not essential. We are looking for a motivated individual who will help us continue to deliver an exceptional service to the business.
• Accounting qualification (Degree minimum or equivalent)
• Accounting experience/use of accounting systems
• Excellent IT literacy and PC skills including Excel. Knowledge of databases is desirable but not essential
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines with a clear attention to detail
• Assist in the Budget Process
• Analysis and reporting of monthly management accounts
• Month End tasks and reporting. Keeping to strict deadlines
• Assisting in adhoc management information and KPI reports
• Support Divisional and Regional Management in reviewing monthly financial performance
• Assisting with the daily and weekly reporting of key operational data
