As a Bank Care Assistant you’ll help residents feel fulfilled and valued in their life through the provision of a range of quality supportive methods, these include physical assistance and companionship, thereby sharing great moments and creating memories too. Care is provided in a variety of ways including one to one and a team approach with interventions including support at mealtimes, personal and therapeutic care as well as ensuring links with the community are maintained.
From your first day you can expect a good standard of guidance and supervision from the General Manager and Clinical Staff ensuring professional development. A high standard of training is received via the learning and development team including the opportunity to attain NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care via the Apprenticeship Scheme or realising an ambition is to become a Care Practitioner.

You will also be a team player who finds it rewarding working in a challenging busy environment, whilst providing stimulating interaction for our residents with various mental and complex care needs. Experience as a Care Assistant or caring for people with learning disabilities is advantageous but not essential as we’ll provide all the training you need to thrive. Above all, you’ll have real compassion for all our residents and will deliver the highest standards of care and support.
As well as competitive pay, you can look forward to a role that offers true flexibility and plenty of free learning and development opportunities. As one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers, we take the growth of everyone who works for us seriously.
As this is a Bank position to provide cover as and when we need it, such as for annual leave or sick leave, the hours and days you work will vary.
