The role of a Clinical Lead - Neurological Specialist (Registered Nurse) with Barchester is to lead, support and develop excellence in care provision across a number of homes within a region, with emphasis on developing the professional leadership of staff and modelling person-centred, holistic care. You will also be a key member of the Care and Quality Team, providing professional input into strategic planning and decision-making, and working collaboratively with colleagues across all disciplines, both within Barchester and externally.
 
Since Barchester’s care homes and hospitals are all culturally diverse, you will need the ability, tact, and confidence to support and motivate an autonomous group of General Managers and their teams to achieve all clinical objectives. Leadership, empathy, and communication skills are essential requirements for this role.

The role of Clinical Lead - Neurological Specialist (Registered Nurse) with Barchester also requires you to have a current NMC registration, and, ideally, a recognised qualification or experience in teaching and assessing. Current clinical expertise, with relevant specialist experience in Neurology is essential. You will also need experience and understanding of the independent healthcare sector.

This is a regional post and will involve regular travel and over-night stays.
