With over 25 years’ experience, nearly 240 care homes, and six independent hospitals, Barchester is one of the UK’s foremost care providers. We are looking for a Team Assistant to join the Customer Feedback team at our head office in Central London. Organised, with excellent communications skills, and a great eye for detail, this pivotal role will support the Customer Feedback team to support customers, and operate efficiently and within tight deadlines.
NEED TO HAVE:
• Excellent organisational, time management, and diary management skills
• Ability to perform under pressure, with a strong eye for detail
• Previous experience in a customer facing role
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
NEED TO DO:
• Ensure all feedback including compliments, concerns and complaints are appropriately and promptly handled
• Demonstrate a focus on customer care and supporting a positive reputation for the business
• Support in resolving customer complaints for Barchester’s portfolio of 240 care homes and hospitals
• Support in responding to customers, MPs and other third parties on behalf of the CEO
• Work with the Press team to manage responding to customers where there is media involvement
• Ensure all services are working in line with Barchester policy
• Support the customer care team with administrative tasks
• Report on concerns, complaints and compliments, including days overdue, trends and themes.
• Ensure a high standard of customer care is maintained, communicating with tact and diplomacy
• Coach managers across the business in regards to complaints handling
