With over 25 years’ experience, nearly 240 care homes, and six independent hospitals, Barchester Healthcare is one of the UK’s foremost care home providers, and we are rapidly expanding our portfolio. Over the next 5 years, we have an ambitious plan to open up to 10 brand new homes each year, and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Implementation Lead to join us to achieve this goal. We are looking for someone who is able to co-ordinate a number of projects at different stages, who is driven to succeed, and who is a real people person. This role is pivotal to our new build programme, and you must be able to provide guidance and leadership remotely, and be prepared to work on site in the lead up to the home opening to support the finishing touches.
Required experience/qualifications:
• Full UK driving licence
• Previous experience in an implementation role
• Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
• Able to travel nationally
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Role and responsibilities:
• Project coordination and work stream management for up to 3 new build projects at any one time
• Work with the Project Manager and the wider business to achieve the agreed milestones for each project
• Deliver training, coaching, and advice to the homes and hospitals to ensure successful implementation
• Manage problem escalation to vendors or other areas of the business as appropriate
• Manage expectations across each project
• Participate in all project meetings, workshops and presentations to a wide variety of audiences
• Work with Project Managers to create and maintain up to date and comprehensive project documentation
• Assist critical path and milestone planning
