Leadership and Management Careers at Barchester

As part of the Barchester leadership and management team, you’ll help to embed the culture that makes your care home or independent mental health hospital a warm and welcoming place unlike any other.

We celebrate diversity in our people and the places they work, so we don’t impose a strict corporate identity on our homes or hospitals. Similarly, you don’t need to have come from a particular background to join us in a leadership role.

“Before joining, I was an Oncology Nurse. I now enjoy leading the care and nursing team here and I especially enjoy the homely feel. I am very proud of the relationships built between residents and team members here.”

Elizabeth, General Manager

“As a qualified Mental Health Nurse, I am passionate about person-centred care and making every moment special for our residents. I joined the private care sector in 2015, following my time as a Clinical Educator for the NHS in complex services. I was excited to join Barchester in 2016, as the company shares my values and beliefs regarding care delivery and staff engagement. Our teams work hard to build relationships with all our residents and offer support to our relatives past and present.”
