Barchester’s Juniper House care home in Brackley, Northamptonshire has been Highly Commended in the East Midlands Care Awards 2022. Their award was to specifically recognise homes who have been involved in projects with residents and their families to improve care.
The East Midlands care home awards celebrate care to be proud of, they look at work that makes a difference to care home residents and staff. The awards are a way of recognising and showing appreciation for the achievements, and the fantastic contribution care home staff make to driving quality improvements in care homes.
Hundreds of nominations were received from homes and hospitals across the East Midlands. All entries were a very high standard and the staff and residents at Juniper House are over the moon to have been Highly Commended, beating hundreds of other nominees to the coveted Highly Commended title.
General Manager of Juniper House care home, Seema Thomas said: “It is so wonderful to be recognised for doing the job that we love, this really is a team award for everyone who works at Juniper House – we are a family and we all support each other. I am so lucky to work with such brilliant people and to have such lovely residents.”
