The whole team at Ottley House is committed to providing the very best for all residents and their relatives. The maintenance team takes great pride in personalising rooms by putting up pictures, fitting televisions and arranging personal furniture. The catering staff offer a fantastic dining experience where the food is cooked to the highest of standards, and residents’ likes and dislikes are taken into consideration. The activities team works with residents to provide group and individual activities that are stimulating and enjoyable. We have weekly music and movement therapy sessions, visits from entertainers, as well as pub nights and minibus outings to places of interest.

We offer 24-hour nursing and dementia care, as well as respite care and short breaks. Many of our residents are older people, but we also provide services for the under-65s. In addition, we offer care for strokes, early onset dementia, physical disabilities, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s and Huntington’s.
We’re proud to be one of the first homes to be accredited as part of Barchester’s 10-60-06 Dementia Care programme. We have a dedicated Memory Lane Community providing specialised resources for people living with dementia. This includes colour and cues to help residents navigate through the home as well as thoughtful interior design to help with reminiscence.
