Every member of our team is focused on promoting our residents’ individuality, privacy, dignity and independence. Our residents complete an assessment that helps us determine their likes and dislikes, which informs our care plans and activities. Our Activities Coordinator is supported by the whole team to put on activities which include social events where residents can meet and chat, reading groups, arts and crafts, exercises, baking, as well as walking and regular outings to local places of interest. We want each and every resident to have an enjoyable and meaningful experience with us.
Of course, it’s the dedication of our teams of nurses, carers, chefs, managers, housekeepers and all other support departments that make this possible. What we do requires a diverse range of roles, but our warm and supportive culture brings us together to help our residents. Pentland View is located on the outskirts of Thurso in Scotland. Our home overlooks Thurso Bay, close to the fishing and ferry port of Scrabster. A short drive brings you to the famous John o' Groats and the late Queen Mother's favourite summer retreat, the Castle of Mey.
