Opened in February 2019, Queens Manor in Edinburgh is a stunning 60-bed purpose-built care home offering high-quality residential care to older people, including those living with dementia. Located on Queensferry Road, near Edinburgh Airport, the home is just a 20 minute drive away from the city centre.
We take pride in making our home somewhere that our residents and their families enjoy spending time. Our brand new home is furnished to the highest standards and offers care and support in a warm, homely and friendly environment. Our team of qualified and dedicated staff focus on the individual needs of each person, and are committed to providing professional and respectful care, with the residents at the heart of everything they do.
We are also proud of our Memory Lane Community, which offers high quality care for people living with dementia. Within our community, memory boxes with small reminders and items, such as photographs, are used to help each person reminisce. Features, such as adapted crockery and tableware, sensory gardens with low risk walkways and activity kitchens also enable people to engage in simple everyday tasks and pleasures. Essential to our homely feel is the enhanced relationship of trust we build with family, friends and residents.
