Set amidst 3.5 acres of formal gardens, Red Oaks is a vibrant community where we always put our residents’ needs first. Following significant investment, our beautiful care home has a brand new look; we have a bright new reception area, a beautiful dining room and 63 tastefully decorated bedrooms. We also have a number of luxury assisted living apartments situated within Rayner Court, which allow residents to maintain their independence.
Every member of the Red Oak team is focused on helping our residents get the most out of life – and one way we do that is by providing a lifestyle full of choice and activity centred around their interests. This includes a whole host of varied activities together with regular trips out around the region, taking full advantage of our mini-bus.
From our maintenance and hospitality teams through to our nurses and carers, we all aim to celebrate each resident’s individuality, while helping them to maintain independence. Every resident is special to us and we’ll make sure you have the training and support you need to play your own part in delivering them the person-centred care they deserve.

We offer 24-hour nursing, residential and dementia care, as well as respite care and short breaks.
We’re proud to be one of the first homes to be accredited as part of Barchester’s 10-60-06 Dementia Care programme. We have a dedicated Memory Lane Community providing specialised resources for people living with dementia. This includes colour and cues to help residents navigate through the home as well as thoughtful interior design to help with reminiscence. We also run regular music therapy sessions.
Residents within our assisted living apartments have access to staff and services from our home depending on their care and meal package.
