Find Your Next Job at Southerndown Care Home in Chipping Norton
With its bright and spacious environment, Southerndown has been designed so our residents can enjoy the luxurious surroundings to the fullest. Following significant investment, the home has a new reception area, a beautiful dining room and 87 tastefully decorated bedrooms. We have a warm and welcoming environment that helps us deliver the person-centred care our residents deserve.
Every member of the Southerndown team is focused on helping our residents to get the most out of life. One of the ways we keep our residents active is through a varied range of activities and entertainment that offers something for everyone. We have our own choir and often invite local schools’ singing clubs and professional choirs to join us. Peter and Winston, our pet rabbits, provide many adventures for us (especially when they escape!). We also have gardening groups, trips out in the minibus, quiz days and art therapy – there’s always something happening here.
Of course, it’s the dedication of our teams of nurses, carers, chefs, managers, housekeepers and all other support departments that make this possible. What we do requires a diverse range of roles, but our warm and supportive culture brings us together to help our residents. If you join us, you’ll be given the resources and opportunities you need to give our residents the care and support they deserve.
