Wilsmere House is a Grade 2 listed building that’s been converted into a warm and welcoming care home with space for 94 residents. We have large bedrooms, a purpose-built hairdressing salon, bright communal and dining areas, and a lovely garden. With our vibrant yet homely feel, this is an opportunity to work in an environment that enables you to deliver the very best in person-centred care.
Our highly skilled multi-disciplinary team provides first-class nursing care for residents with a wide variety of different symptoms, backgrounds and challenges. We have a dedicated nursing team which makes sure a good assessment is carried out, and prior to our residents moving into the home rooms are personalised with the support of the activities, nursing and maintenance teams. Our Activities Coordinators spend time with our residents to find out what their favourite hobbies are and include them in our programmes, whether it’s quizzes, baking or gardening.
As for our managers and people in support teams, they’re all committed to helping the home run smoothly, whether that’s by keeping it clean and tidy or overseeing the quality of care.
